I have no clue how long this has been available .. I just noticed it!
click on any category in your store ... like this one -
http://bigtallmensclothing.ecrater.com/category.php?cid=13332
SEE on the right side UNDER the buy it now button ... rss feed!
WOO HOO!!!
Only thing I WISH is that it was a feed for your WHOLE store and not by category! |

Excuse me for asking, but I am not familiar with the term. I'm html stupid. Need things explained in simple layman's terms. |

Wikipedia has a definition.
I hope the feed will soon be automatically recognised by the browser. The code in the header is missing:
Code: | <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS" href="http://bigtallmensclothing.ecrater.com/rss-cat.php?cid=13332"> |
A feed for the whole shop could be difficult if the RSS-function is based on the category listing.
Every improvement is great! |

I have a guy working to get my site fed into googlebase right now. If it works, I'll let you know, and you might want to use him. He is VERY reasonable.

@cornerstonevintage: Do/will you use the category feed for Google Base? The feed has only few information (title, image, link, price) and no real item description. But I think this is only preliminary. So your effort might be useless.
A good solution would be to use the google-specific tags (like image or category) in the feed from ecrater. |
