Can you use html in your description? I've tried multiple times and failed. I really need to use html in my product's description, mainly to make the description look better, and so it's easier to read. If you cant use html it would be really nice if ecrater added this much-needed feature. If anybody knows how to help please do. THANKS |

ecrater.com does not allow HTML. They say they never will. |

Do they have a GOOD reason not to allow html? I think its crazy not allowing html.... i dont understand why they dont allow it. Maybe we should start an "ALLOW HTML POTITION" |

I like the standardized look of the site and, from a buyer's standpoint, I believe they do as well.
If a store has quality products, a good description, a reasonable price, and promotes itself intelligently they will do fine.
It's about SALES! |

The store layout looks great, in my opinion. Adding HTML has been suggested many times and talked to death. It'd be nice to have basic abilities -- like bold, italics -- but full HTML won't ever happen. |

Thats what i mean by HTML, bold, italics, font color, font size, thats about all I would need. What i dont understand is why not add html? That would shut up all the complaining webmasters, like myself, and be good for everybody, including ECrater. Webmasters like to have as many features as possible, like html. The more features, the better you can make your site. I would settle for basic html abilities... but full html would be a HUGE IMPROVEMENT. Why not? It would make ECrater's users happy... and attract more users... and pursuade angry users like myself to stay with ECrater. See my point? I feel very strongly about adding the much needed html feature. |

I don't think it matters whether we agree with you or not usnstore as we've been told a number of times they won't allow it. I guess since they are the ones who run it we have to abide by their rules.

A text editor would be nice but I like the overall uniform look and feel of ecrater. |

It doesn't matter if we agree or not. The founder of ecrater.com already - long ago stated that there will never be HTML coding allowed here. |

i will say that it would be much easier to add products with HTML Tags but truly i can understand the founders decision HTML tags if used wrong can cause major problems to the server this is hosted on.. thus making the site experience bad for all users.. i will say that i would very much like to see a basic text editor.. For Bold Italics Underline and font changes.. thats all i need.. Bold Most of all as i Bold most of my Paragraph Captions |

HTML eats up bandwidth and server space. Seeing as how eCRATER is free and LOVELY at that, I would much prefer to keep it that way and NOT use HTML |

Coming over from eBay I did, at first, miss using HTML but now it is a relief never to think about it again! You really will get use to the eCrater advantages! There is a listing life without HTML . . . .
