Can Canadians Use Google Checkout System????

Hello every one! :>) I tried to sign up for the google check out system although it only states US and doesn't state Canada. Is google check out only available for the USA? Thank you.

I have heard that is available outside the US BUT I have read lots that can not register from outside the US.

So I think it's in the plan just not ready yet.

Thank you bigtallmensclothes. I went on the internet and did a search for google check out appears Canada is in the list that can use google check out but we have to have a US account with a registered US address. Now that doesn't make much sense to use google checkout if we live in Canada and don't have a US registered address. Sure it's easy to open up a US account here in Canada we are permitted to do that through our local banks but to get a registered address now that we can't do unless we live in the USA. Also if one were to sign up with the above criteria still the free google checkout offer does not apply to Canada we would be charged fees. Now does all this make sense? It doesn't to me. Correct me if I'm wrong on the above and if you can find me a better link then all the ones I've been reading on the google checkout in Canada I would really appreciate it. Hey now that's an idea. Never heard of that before but it would work. Also what a great way to get items shipped from places that will only ship to the USA. I'm going to have to definately check into that. Even if I never used that to have items shipped to that address and then have them ship them to me but I could use it to sign up for the google check out. You wouldn't happen to have a link with all that information available that I could read up on it would you? Now that's a tip for the day I tell you! :>) Thanks a million appreciate this information.
