I just lost every catagory, and most of my products

I had over 861 items listed, and was looking at some of my products, and the site froze up, and was not accessable. When I finally got back in, I only had 78 items showing up, and all of my catagories but 1 were gone. This really sucks. I do not have the time to re-scan everything, re-write everything, and put in all new catagories. Can anyone restore my store to earlier today? Please help.

I'll let eCrater know. Can't guaranty the results. But if your items were not aginst the terms, they should be able to restore it. (I hope).

None of the items were against their terms. It was all sports card stuff. Thanks for the help

You didn't by any chance click on "delete account" did you? I've twice had my cursor slip to that link and only caught it when I got the warning message, "Are you sure?"

But why would he have a single listing and 3 categories left?

When nononscents deleted her store it was saying no such seller when you clicked on the www here.

No, I didn't delete anything. I was just looking at some of my products, and the site locked up for some reason. I couldn't get back in for 10 minutes or so.

Something is very strange.

category page shows 1 main category with 3 subs with 1 item in the main category
BUT
click on the filter
and there are 76 items

wonserscards - you really need to contact ecrater.com using the contact form explain in detail exactly what you where doing, and what happened.

I already sent them an email, explaining what happened, and hopefully they have a back-up copy of my store, so that it can be brought back.

I got a response from eCrater. They said you deleted a category hence lost all the subcategories and the listings in them. What exactly were you doing. Were you trying to delete a product and accidentally deleted a category before you got locked out?

I was trying to change out the pictures on my catagories. I changed one, it was fine, when I changed the picture of the second catagory and hit the update button, the first catagory disappeared. I went back to the catagory page, and my computer froze for a bit, then the next thing I did was hit the refresh button, and I got a white screen saying that the site was unavailable. I figured it was my computer, so I rebooted, tried to log back in, and got the same white screen saying the site was unavailable. It stayed like that, for about 10 minutes, and when I finally got back in, the site was very slow, and most everything was gone.

Can they bring my listings back?

I asked, but if they could they would have done it already. I'm guessing once it is deleted it is gone. Although I am seeing more listings today. Are you adding them? there are like 76 listings. Yesterday it was 1.

So the category you lost is the one you were trying to change the picture on?

I don't know why the catagory got deleted, when I changed the pic, but it did. I've changed the pics before without problems, but last night was something out of the twilight zone. I wish that Ecrater would answer my email I sent, so I know for sure, what's going on. I put one, or two catagories back on my store, and why it went from 1 listing, back to 76 is beyond me. The crazy thing is, the first post I put on here today, took forever to load up. I can't understand why the site is very slow at times, and other times it's not.

OK I just got a response from eCrater. Sorry they can't recover it. You are going to have to re-list. Did you have a bulk lister file?
