Special "Notes" section when a buyer uses Paypal

When you use Paypal to make a purchase, isn't there a text box that the buyer can send the seller special instructions? I thought that there was. I haven't used Paypal in along time to make a purchase.

google checkout does not have a note area... I wish they did!
But paypal does. BUT I Don't think you can see the message in the confirmation email... I THINK you have to go into paypal & click in "Details".

I need a notes/special instruction area in GC too. Customer is forced to send email.
