Google Base Attributes: the keywords that describe your products, are free to use. In fact the more effectively you add them the better your chances in getting your products appear at Google Product Search. Don't frett eCrater puts some of the info you enter as Google Attributes (but not the ones in the list of Attributes that you can add if you like) such as: title, price, tax, used/new product, product_type.
Google Base feed is where you submit your info to Google (mainly to Google Product Search) is a separate thing. It requires an account. eCrater feeds everything listen on eCrater stores through their Google Base account to Google Product Search. So if you do a separate feed from what eCrater is doing Google Base will consider it as double content, which is against their terms. I suggest you don't do that. It may hinder your listings being pulled up at search results. |
