|
|
I have many items listed but would like to advertise or promote numerous amount of options or upgrades. I have many types Golf Grips, Steel and Graphite golf shafts available that I would like to promote as upgrades but I do not want to include them in every item I'm selling. Any suggestions?
I'm thinking of putting them out as an item and just create a long list with prices next to them.
Example
True Temper shafts upgrade for $6.00 each.
Golf Pride Grips upgrade for $1.50 each
Can I post this somewhere on the home page?
Thank you KangasGolf

You cannot post a listing for advertisement or info or whatever. Every product page should contain a product you are selling (please see eCrater's terms page).
I'm not sure if an upgrade can be a listing. Maybe BigTall or someone else who knows can enlighten us. |

Make one listing for the plain club and another listing for the club with the upgrade i.e.
golf club $20.00
golf club with upgraded steel shaft $25.00
etc.
Each listing would be different and not break any rules. If you list just upgrades as an item, you are going to run into deep doo-doo with confused buyers who may find your upgrades via Google but not figure out how to find the basic club.
Does this make sense? |

Since an option/upgrade is NOT an item for sale it can NOT be listed.
As viewfinders says - you can do a listing for the product with the upgrade and without the upgrade.

This won't work because how will that ever be added to the shopping cart price? It can't be. |

I like the one idea. I could sell the shafts as singles or an upgrades. Can I give a price reduction if a customer buys a set of irans and the upgrade shafts? |

the SYSTEM can't do it.
And you have to be careful because the terms don't allow for upgrades. |

Ok,
Sounds like everything has to be sold as an individual item... |

Should we all suggest the discount option to Ecrater? It will help us to increase the sales amount and provide the promotion to buyers. |

If you want to suggest something please post it in the Suggestions section. eCrater reads that regularly. (May or may not implement, but do read.) |
