|
|
I have sold a signed cookbook which now is wearing a SOLD sign. The sold copy will remain until I am sure my customer has received and approved of the sale.
Now I would now like to place another copy of this same cookbook into my store. I dont imagine it will help but the new
copy could be listed under cookbooks instead of Signed by Author.
I know two of the same item can not be listed at the same time but does that include a sold item and one that is for sale?

I don't know for sure but I'd think it'd be okay in that instance -- as long as you don't forget to take down the sold one in a couple of weeks.
Also, if it happens that the sold one is signed and the new one listed isn't then I'm pretty sure that'd be considered as two different items rather than a duplicate.
Either way I'd be it would be okay. Let's see what BT thinks.. |

IF one is signed and one is not - they are different and I am assuming that is noted by a difference in the title.
IF they are both signed - then the are the exact same thing and you shouldn't have it marked as sold since you have more.
Hope that explains it. |

If it's the same just take the SOLD sign down. |

I'd say -- UNLESS the condition difference between copies is substantial. That's particularly important in the realm of collectibles.
I'm not saying anybody should list 10 copies of the same book just because they have them but in the case of one being sold and another being available this might be a point to consider. |
