I'm a new seller here & my items are not showing up on Google. I believe I have the wrong code entered. How do I go to Google Analytics again & check the code? Thanks for the help! |

When you log in to Google Analytics the UA number is written right on top of the profile name next to the url. You will recognise it it starts with UA-
You copy the UA-xxxxxx-x (numbers instead of x) and paste it at eCrater Options. Don't forget to check to enable and "update".
After 10 min check if it says receiving data. If so you are OK.
The first repost appears 24 hours after data is being received. |

If you don't have more than one profile that would end with -1 |

But to clarify -- setting up Google Analytics properly has no bearing on your items showing up in Google's searches. |

Thank you for your response. I was not able to respond right a way due to a major snow & ice storm in Kentucky causing the loss of electricity. It has been about two weeks & my items are not showing up on Google yet. Not sure what to do. |

As indicated opening a Google Analytics account has no bearing on your product info showing at Google Search Engine or Google product Search.
For Google Search Engine you need to submit your store homepage url to Google Search Engine's specified submission site.
For Google Product Search you do not need to do anything. eCrater automatically submits that stuff. Be patient and they will appear. Give it a week or two. (That is if your store was not on hold during the last Google Base submission. Which was around the middle of January).
Just to makes things clear Google Analytics is a program that track the traffic that comes and goes through a given site (not a search engine). |
