In a nut shell -
login at google checkout
click the setting tab
select Integration from the left menu
On the section for API callback URL there is a box that is where you put https://www.ecrater.com/google/response-handler.php
Callback method:
CHECK - XML
e.g. <google-order-number>123</google-order-number>
to the right you will see
Account information
that is where you get your Google merchant ID and Google merchant key that you need to put in the payment methods of your ecrater admin page
You will also see Email notifications
IF you want an email copy of the order you must check - Email me each time I receive an order, cancellation or other transaction. Otherwise you will not get an email of the order.

DO I NEED A GMAIL ACCOUNT TO USE GOOGLE CHECKOUT?
No, you can use any email to use google checkout, although if you have a gmail account, you can forward those emails to any account that you want! |

Once the order on google says the charge has been completed - process I think is the order on your ORDER page - but ig you click the order and see the detail on the lower right it will say that it has been charged. Then you ship! |

Quote: | If a buyer pays through Google and I want to send a partial refund for whatever reason, can that be done?
|
Google says - https://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?answer=42946&topic=8674
Quote: | Can I cancel part of an order only?
Not at this time. If a buyer requests a partial cancellation, you can ask the buyer to place another order with only the items he or she wants, then cancel the previous order completely.
As an alternative, you can charge the full order, then refund the buyer for the unwanted and unshipped items.
|
Google also says - https://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?answer=28916&ctx=sibling
Quote: | How do I cancel or refund an order?
To cancel an order using the Google Checkout Merchant Center:
Sign in to Google Checkout.
In your orders inbox, click the number of the order you'd like to cancel.
Click Cancel this order . . ..
Select the appropriate cancellation reason from the drop-down menu.
Add comments if needed. These comments will appear to the buyer in his or her Purchase History.
Click Cancel the order.
To refund an order using the Merchant Center:
Sign in to Google Checkout.
In your orders inbox, click the number of the order you'd like to refund.
Click Cancellations, refunds, and returns . . ..
Select the appropriate refund reason from the drop-down menu.
Add comments if needed. These comments will appear in the buyer's account.
Enter the amount you'd like to refund to the buyer. (To cancel an order that's already been charged, select the 'Cancel order' checkbox. The entire order amount will be refunded.)
Click Submit refund.
If you refund an order, Google will send a cancellation or refund notification email to the buyer. Also, Google will return a portion of the transaction fee to you. |

How often will Google pay me for my sales?
Payouts will be initiated within two business days if:
You've already specified a valid bank account to receive your payouts.
You've successfully charged an order.
Your earned balance at the time of disbursement or transfer is at least US$1.
Google will initiate payouts within two business days after you charge an order; however, your bank may take up to three additional business days to register the payout in your account. Please contact your bank representative if you'd like more information about the timing of fund transfers into your account.

Here is a screen shot of what you should see on your Google Checkout Setting tab - then click on Integration
IF you have the API callback URL set to another site - ecrater will never receive the information and the other site won't have a clue what to do with the info that google checkout is sending them.
If you use inventory control your inventory count will not be lowered for this sale - since eCRATER won't receive the information from GC
UNLESS that API callback URL is set to eCRATER using
https://www.ecrater.com/google/response-handler.php
For this reason 2 different google checkout accounts are needed.
