|
|
I'd like to change the wording in the message my buyer gets after a purchase. I hadn't seen the message until a buyer included a copy with her mailed money order.
The message my buyer automatically receives from my eCrater store apparently ends with this comment: "Thanks a bunch!"
I'd really like to change this thank-you comment to something else.
I appreciate any help.
Warmest Regards,
Donna |

I received the SELLER email (since I did this in one of my stores) immediately.
I did this test because I didn't think ecrater.com emailed the buyer at all -- and
as a buyer I didn't get an email!
So I am wondering if perhaps your buyer is confused OR you list on another site that sends out emails and thats where the buyer purchased from. |

Do a test for yourself within your own store
buy it -- select money order
and see if you get an email. |

I've never received a thank you email when making a purchase here either. |

I don't remember any comment like that. I just checked the order messages I got it didn't have such a thing.
Did the buyer maybe enter a note for the seller when buying? Because that appears at the bottom of the order notice (the one the customer gets which is the same as the one seller gets). So you thought it was eCrater writing Thanks a bunch, when it was the buyer.
(I can't imagine Dimitar writing Thanks a bunch! on any kind of official notice. ) |

I think that zeldasemporium sold something on their own site
and NOT on ecrater.com
There is no email sent to the buyer after the purchase is made
EXCEPT the feedback email which is only on instant payments |

Thank you for the replies------
I followed your suggestions and did go through and order something to be paid by MO.
In doing so, I saw the Comments box for the buyer to fill in, and then it hit me:::: That's what my buyer did------the comment was from my buyer!
I stand corrected----and thank you so much for the help-----
In this case I'm so glad I was wrong!

Hey at least the customer thanked you. That's a good sign. |
