I'm so disappointed. I received a negative feedback and it is completely unfair. The order was placed on January 16th, and we emailed on January 17th to confirm that the package had been shipped. Unfortunately, I have discovered that the customer had left us negative feedback on January 16th (the date of the sale) stating that "the sale did not go through for some mysterious reason". Sad Obviously it did go through since we received the order and have sent it. Even if it had not gone through, then that would be an issue with ecrater, not with us, so I don't feel it's fair that our feedback has dropped to 92% because a buyer thought that a sale didn't go through when it actually did.

So... is there a way to dispute feedback that has been left? Is there somewhere to complain about incorrect feedback?

We did everything we could to make this sale successful (mailing within 24 hours of payment received) and think it's unfair to have a negative as a result of a buyer's misunderstanding.

1. I think x-amount of buyers don't necessarily realize that there's any differentiation between the individual stores and eCrater itself -- especially if they came in through Froogle.

2. I don't think there's a formal feedback removal procedure in place but I'd definitely use the Contact form at www.ecrater.com and ask about it.

Did you email the customer and tell them that you did in fact receive their order and have shipped it?

Maybe there should be some kind of restriction that a buyer cant leave feedback until a certain amount of time has passed.

Yes, the buyer purchased the item on the 16th and we emailed on the 17th to confirm that it was shipped. However, the buyer had already left negative feedback on the 16th! We also emailed today when we discovered the negative feedback, but have not heard back from the buyer.

Click on an item in your store from your stores homepage. Right under the price is a link "View sellers feedback".

And their's another good reason why we shouldn't have feedback.

It makes me feel like we are still in greedbay land after all that's where it started from.

We are stores not auctions.

Just my 2cents.

I had someone leave a negative for us.
They never contacted us about the item, claimed it was never delivered even though the DC# says it was


off to add an amendment to my top 3 list Wink

I agree about the feedback. I have had some negative feedback. The customer never did contact me about the problem. I offer refunds on items that customers don't like. I would gladly refunded there money. I work very hard to make customer happy.

ecrater ROCKS! Smile I really appreciate the fact that we don't get automated responses that don't relate to the question that was asked, and that if you email with any questions or concerns, they are addressed immediately. (I'm so glad to have left feebay!)
