Anyone else have this problem?
I have had 3 customers in a row file Paypal disputes
because an Item has not arrived when they "figured" it should have.
No email, no Phone call, just Dispute....
Is a week too long to wait for an item now?
Must be something in the water.
no wonder those TV ads always say 4-6 weeks for Delivery

Sorry, Kenny, that's awful! Is the full moon out tonight, I see it looks pretty bright out there LOL.
But seriously, that is rough when you do your best and still customers complain. I send an email immediately after I get an order, address the person by their first name to make it more personal, as follows:
Dear XYZ:
Thank you for your purchase! Your order will be shipped within 24-48 hours via USPS first class, insured, with delivery confirmation. You'll received a separate email with your DC # once your order is shipped.
Again, thank you for your order, we appreciate your business! Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
Then when the order ships, I email the DC # and if they have chosen ground shipping, I tell them to please allow 2-10 business days for their order to arrive.
That way, they are CLEARLY told to take a chill pill...either that or pay for expedited shipping! They are also explicitly instructed to make contact if they have a problem. So if they do file with Paypal, they will look kinda goofy for not contacting me in advance of filing a PP dispute.
Jeez, I had one guy report me to the BBB because he didn't get his watch. Never contacted me at all, and his contact info was bogus, both email and phone number. He was dumb enough to give the bogus contact info to the BBB in the complaint LMAO. Took care of that dude PDQ (dusting off hands!) |

I had a buyer e-mail today because she was concerned that she hadn't received her package. She purchased her costume 2 days ago, at which time it was shipped. |

That is ridiculous! All my buyers have been great so far - they even left feedback!

Fancy, did they have a reason to think they were getting an overnight shipping? |

Nope, no overnight. Today I had a lady from Singapore ask about her shipment. Again, shipped 2 days ago. I'm really not kidding. |

I'm sorry to know about this...
What I do is to send a "thank you" mail once that payment has been received. Then I send a shipping notification eMail once that the order has been taken to the postal office (usually 2 days after payment). That eMail informs the buyer about the approximate time frame that delivery usually takes. This is of course no way 100% effective but might help you to reduce disputes, because buyers would know how much time a shipment usually takes. Plus constant communication generates confidence, and they know that since you communicate quickly, they can ask you directly anytime which will be a faster process than filling a dispute. Just a suggestion.
Take care,
Troesmita
