|
|
Hello everyone. Someone paid for an item with Google Check out and it was my first sale paid by GCO. My question is do I have to initiate the withdrawl to my account like I would with Paypal, or will GCO automatically send the funds to my account with in a couple of days. The item has been charged and the funds look like they are just sitting in my account. The item was just sold last night. Second question, for those that use GCO, when do you actually ship your product? Do you wait for the funds to transfer into your bank account or since the buyers card has been charged and the funds are in GCO, is it safe to ship before the funds are in your bank account?
Thank you everyone. I hope I made my questions clear. Have a great day! |

I haven't set up Google yet but from the reading I've been doing at the boards, I think the funds will automatically be sent to your account but it may take a couple of days. And I think that it's supposed to be okay to ship once the card has been charged.
But somebody else who knows for sure will pop in and say...
Also, I don't know if these specific questions are addressed but you might check the Google Solutions area out:

yes, funds are deposited into the bank account you set up when you register...takes 3-4 days, but the charge is confirmed/cleared almost immediately, so you can ship right away. |

I just received my first GC payment yesterday - but GC states that my next payout won't occur until the first business day in March.
Surely it doesn't really take this long - does it? |

Where does it state that? I haven't had a gc sale for a month now so I'm not sure if there were any changes since then. At that time I would have the funds transfered to my account about 2-3 business days after a client's card is charged. I ship the orders the next day after a client's card is charged... |

After logging in I just clicked on the Payout tab - it says that to the right of my order history. |

Google sends you your money once a month. So, between Feb 1 and March 1 you have 30 days.
I am not sure (would have to check) if you can set it up for a shorter (14 days) payment schedule.
To all other questions jewelrydesign responded correctly above. Good luck! |

I get my money from google within 3 days!
Once a month would be a killer and I wouldn't be using them.
MAYBE it's an option set soemwhere. No sure. But I get mine 3 days after it appears on my PayOut page. |

Let's clear this up. The below information is directly from google checkout.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
How often will Google pay me for my sales?
Payouts will be initiated within two business days if:
You've already specified a valid bank account to receive your payouts.
You've successfully charged an order.
Your earned balance at the time of disbursement or transfer is at least US$1.
Google will initiate payouts within two business days after you charge an order; however, your bank may take up to three additional business days to register the payout in your account. Please contact your bank representative if you'd like more information about the timing of fund transfers into your account.

Here the link to the above information.

EJ, surely you received a payment from Google AdSense, not Google Checkout, yes, no? |

Gotta be, AdSense has a payout area that shows when your next expected payment will post. Checkout doesn't tell you when your payments will post to your bank account. It only reflects completed transactions. |

That's right! The sales payments come in within 3-5 business days to my acct. It is AdSense that is once a month. |
