Well, it sure looks fishy...and where would you ship to?
If you actually receive a money order payment, I would verify it's authenticity with a bank, and would not ship any merchandise until it clears... and I've heard they can bounce back even after 30 days, so be very cautious.
If it's not a scam, they should be willing to wait, and provide a verifiable mailing address and phone number, especially for such a purchase. |

If they did pay you, I'd refund the money ASAP, and forget about it. If they want it bad enough, they will contact you to find out what's up with the order. Sounds pretty shaky, everyone loves sales, but not that much! |

The NH address is legit according to USPS.
The phone number is correct to the city and state in the shipping address area.
I would try calling the number to verify information just to see what happens. |

HI,
The NH address is me It's the part that has "tt" for a name and "t" for an address that seems fishy to me.
They noted to mail me a money order. I think it's just someone playing a game, which isn't a very nice thing to do. I assume no money order is coming in the mail to me. As the Virginia phone number and test@test.com isn't valid. The phone number is disconnected and the email address comes back with an "undeliverable error".
Thank you all for your input,
Brandy
P.S. Has anything like this ever happened to any of you?! |

Thank you! Yes I am assuming I will just forget about this order all together. Not worth the hassle, and I doubt a money order will ever arrive in my mailbox. I think it may be a form of "spam" or something. Basically someone online playing tricks on people. Very wrong thing to be doing. But I guess that can happen with the internet.
Thanks again for your feedback,
~Brandy~ |

I guess I would ship to "tt" at "t" in Virginia?! Yes definetly fishy. If for some reason I receive a money order I will definetly send it right back or try to verify it somehow. Thanks for the advice |

looks to me likt they were testing the system to possible see if shipping amount would change. Who knows. But I highly doubt its a real order. |

I do not understand, What do you mean to see if shipping amount would change?

The likely answer is in the e-mail address they chose to use:
Most likely they were just testing the cart, either to see what the final S&H would be or maybe because they're thinking of opening an eCrater store.
These non-orders are somewhat common -- and annoying. |
