|
|
Hi, I've been on ecrater a while but usually just go to my Admin panel and not usually into my own store. Just noticed the "view feedback" link in my listings. When did this start ?!
So far only 1 person has left feedback...just saw it....am I/was I supposed to also leave feedback for the buyer? I can't find any link to do that.
Thanks |

Hello
The "view feedback" link has been for a while now.
And no, you cant leave feedback for your buyers (they arent even required to register in order to purchase).
Hope this helps.
Take care!

Thanks troesmita and wahm922. Good to know I didn't mess-up by not noticing this till now. I'll search the forum for further info.
Does ecrater notify subscribers by email about new features as they are added? Seems like I only find out about new additions by stumbling across them or seeing them mentioned on OTHER forum boards. |

I think new features are usually announced here on the eCrater boards in the section up top. |

Thanks poopsheet. I don't usually visit the forum. Will make a point of checking in more often. |

Wow. Just a little bit behind I guess, haha.
It would be nice if we could import our feedback from other sites or use HTML to add a link to one of those feedback sites.
I have 673 100% positive feedback on ebay that I worked very hard for. I don't think people feel comfortable buying from me here on ecrater with the (1) feedback i've received so far |

well then promote yourself by mentioning it on your home page, your about me or in your listings, and let them know you have a great rep elsewhere!
Even tho you can't post a clickable link, you can certainly post the URL to your feedback page there, or tell them to search by your seller ID and check it out. |

Nah, only people accustomed to eBay and other auction sites. I'd be willing to bet that most people shopping through Froogle or search engines don't try to find your feedback when they check your items out.
For people who don't do the auction scene a feedback score is a fairly foreign concept, I think. |

I agree poopsheet ... feedback is probly meaningless to the average online shoppers |

May I disagree - I have been an avarage online shopper who would try to get best price for whatever I was loking to buy, though I wasn't used to ebay. For the reason I'd often go to the sites like bizrate.com, and if I find something I like for the same (or almost the same) price I'd definitely pay attention to the store rating and reviews. I'd assure you if a store has no or poor rating/reviews on such a site the chances I'd buy from such a store would drop significantly. |

AH YES, but notice you didn't say FEEDBACK.
Customers outside of ebay really don't understand FEEDBACK. Reviews and ratings which are similiar to feedback are not feedback as ebay buyers think of feedback.
Webstores like JCPenny, WalMart etc don't have ratings or reviews or feedback. |
