When I turn on the shiping caculater, do I enter the weights for my products as ounces or pounds? Or can I use both because some of my products are in ounces and some are in pounds. For example some are like 0.20 and some are like 1.65 |

You need to enter all weights in pounds. That is what is assumed at the USPS server. So if you turned on the USPS calculated shipping the weights in each product listing needs to be in pounds.
To convert weight in ounces to pounds simply divide it by 16.
1 pound = 16 ounces
for example, if you have an item that weighs 2 pounds 4 ounces,
divide 4 by 16 to get 0.25 and then add that to the 2. You enter 2.25 in the weight box of that items listing.
example 2: if you have a product that weighs 8 ounces,
divide 8 by 16, which is 0.5 then you enter 0.5 in the weight box of your listing. |
