It would be way over my head. I think this is more designed for Dimitri and those who are developing their own networks than those who sell on those networks.

Nope, it's not a programming/networking thing.

It's for online sellers.
I see a couple of ecrater stores have registered - on the top of my head I know that ShoeLaces is one of them.

How does anyone find time to attend those functions without just plain ignoring their on-line business and dedicated customers?

Learning more about selling & boosting your sales is ALWAYS well worth it. It takes money to make money.... Conventions, seminars & summits are a WEALTH of information. Also getting together with other sellers is a huge advantage to make your biz grow.
I never "ignore" my customers. I put messages on my websites & put stores on hold.
Also..... Laptops & wifi .... answering emails can be done anywhere. Don't have to be strapped to your office chair anymore.

We even attend those "free seminars" (where on online company tries to sell you $1000's in websites).... we even got great info about promoting & "just said no" to their products. They weren't happy but we implimented a few of those ideas & we got many more sales on our own.

So NEVER think attending a seminar about how to build your business is a waste of time..... I am able to stay home & have plenty to pay all my bills!!!

I will be attending the e-commerce summnit in Las Vegas. How about if we have an ecrater meetup for all the ecrater sellers who attend? I would love to meet some other ecrater sellers.

Someone else asked how do you handle your orders while you are gone. I always bring my laptop and keep up with e-mails from customers. If it is just a long weekend or a few days I just get the orders out the first day I get back. If t is a week or longer since what I sell is small and very lightweight I would bring a couple of gallon sized ziploc bags filled with a few of each item I carry and of course evelopes and tape. That way I can get most of my orders out and not have a backlog when I get home.

I have attended other online marketing conferences in the past and have always learned lot. I would encourage anyone thinking about going to go. The conference is Wed. & Thursday. So you can get your orders out when you get home on Friday or Saturday.

no plans yet but I'm thinking the 13th when they have the Meet and Greet cocktail party.
