When the buyer places an order they select the payment type and if they select PP it takes them to PP to pay you. If they select mo it gives them all the info they need to send you money.
If they do not pay me instantly
I go to PP and send an invoice NO MATTER what payment type they selected.
I also email them as a reply to the order say thanks and tell them to pay using pp or to send a money order within 5 days. I tell them where to send it. |

Hmmm....
I didn't know you can send an invoice through PayPal. How do you do that?
How do I send an invoice through eCrater? I can pull up the order, but I can't find a way to send an invoice. My other buyers have paid immediately, so an invoice wasn't necessary.
Thanks---

Hi, We simply go to PayPal and click on the request money tab and enter the buyers email address and fill out the form. There is also a place you can create a custom invoice in the same area.
You cannot invoice via eCrater as far as we know..
Happy sales.

Thanks for the answers!
Now another question:::: I always include a packing slip. Right now I use MS Word and kind of cut and paste into an old packing slip.
I like to have specific item information in my packing slip, so the PP packing slip won't really work.
Do any of you sellers have a way of making an invoice that is easy and looks good??
I do wish that eCrater had this built in----a slick looking invoice and a nice packing slip.
Thanks-----

Do you have excel?
There is an invoice there that might work for you.
Open Excel
Click on File
Click on New
click on the Spreadsheet Solutions tab
the click on Invoice
click ok
if you get the box about macros - click on enable
A spread sheet with 2 pages will open.
The first sheet you can plug in all the never changing information
On the second tab - you can click on the word invoice and change it to Packing Slip
OR just use that as your sample and create a packing slip
OR
Looky here -
