|
|
I have been here a while and i was barely getting ready to load up all my ebay items, since i will be closing there, but seems like my products are hidden?
I had sales here in the past, and until yesterday, i hadn't loaded anything else.
I am a Christian store, i sell genuine music Cds, cassettes, and my market is the hispanic community, so 99% of the material I sell is in spanish, and becuase of that, i need to type the content of the music in spanish.
I ship to all the United States.
what did I do wrong?
http://aguavivaonline.ecrater.com/
i need to know if i am not welcome here, before I enter more items, just to find out I am not allowed, but if that is the case so be it, I just don't want to put the work for no reason
thanks and I hope it works out for me |

if a cd name is in spanish, and i just type the translation
and then the CD has 15 tracks, all in spanish
all I will probably get is english speakers thinking that they are ordering in English, or People that don't read much English, that could come to the conclusion that they could be ordering material in English/Spanish.
Too confusing, and this is the first time I heard of a place to sell that doesn't want customers that are not English speakers, strange to me, but I understand that rules are rules, is all good |

It's not about the customers knowing English or not. I am guessing it is about monitoring what the sellers are typing in. If the people monitoring don't know all kinds of languages then they cannot moderate and the rules of the site may be broken (in another language) and they wouldn't be aware of it.
You can type the stuff both in English and in Spanish. That would work. |

"bigtallmensclothing"] well that was in the terms long before you signed up.
It sounds to me as though the site owner is prejudice of Spanish speaking people. By saying (All text must be in English), makes it seem like Spanish speaking/reading folks are to cheap to have a computer or to stupid to know how to use one therefore, why waste your time listing in a language that nobody with money/brains can understand.

As to Acreads comment regarding monitoring what the sellers are typing in, and possibly (breaking) rules. What could I say type in that would be considered breaking the rules? Like if I added keywords in Spanish to try and help boost my listing on Google? Please!
And, if I was breaking the rules as far as listing something that was a no-no, the site monitors would be able to see that, just on the picture of the item/product. Not that much is not allowed. Do a search on the main Ecrater page for (sex toys), or simply click on the link (sex stuff).
Granted the next page does have two links on it, one that says I am at least 18 years old and the other says I am less than 18 years old. However, I clicked on the over 18 link, and without any kind of verifying information, I was taken to what I consider a slutty page. At least on most porn sites a person has to add a credit card to prove that he/she is over 18. Of course, if a child steals their parents card, that is a different story.
Anyhow, I for one just think it is unfair that a person can not be allowed to list in whatever language he/she wants to. Just my 2 cents. Now I will probably be banned or have my store closed, due to my opinion.

Calling me ignorant is ignorant on your part. I am entitled to my opinion just as you are! The OP was not asking to list EVERYTHING in Spanish, only the item that was Spanish Only! Read........

I understand all that however, it should not make a difference if a person listed an item with both languages.
