I do believe that each upload is good for 30 days, so even if one upload failed your stuff is still out there except for the occassional new listings perhaps for several more weeks. Don't forget too that since you are to be doing the marketing and promotion for your site, those links that you send out are what you really need to bring in buyers. A failed upload does not mean that your items disappeared. They are still there for anyone to find by direct links that you give out, leave in your blog or website, post on forums, use on your invoices, etc.
I say this only because during this current 'crisis' so many seemed to be implying that now their listings aren't showing, etc. The only think that wasn't working was the ecrater administrated/Google thing. Everything else is working: ecrater is still here with all listings showing, Google is working, Google shopping is working, your direct links that you distributed yourself are working, Google Checkout is working, Google search is working, etc. The sky did not fall down. Things have still been selling today. Actually approximately 2000 items sold in the last 24 hours which is a bit more than usual! Hope this helps to calm some fears about this situation. |

I guess it's lucky that I didn't get around to listing things this week. So at least the last items I had added are still showing up in the search at this point.
Seems like if Ecrater is a Google Partner they wouldn't be messing with Ecrater uploads as if they were individuals. But let's hope the solution is quick.
So far there is nothing on the Ecrater Twitter announcements since March. |

I have the same message too. Anyone have any idea what day we can expect it to be cleared up?? Another week, etc.,?
I want to update my matrix and allow another country, but am afraid to mess with anything right now.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

Its always good to know that eCrater is on top of this. I have this issue as well and not just with eCrater, so its definitely a Google change. Not a bad one, just annoying, and I do believe our products stay in for 30 days. Traffic hasn't fluctuated, so hopefully this will be no more than just a received error message and all turns out well. |

See my above post and validation by BT. All your items would still be showing even with this glitch. Items I listed yesterday have gotten multiple hits already. Your stuff IS visible.

If this is not cleared up soon...Google will penalize our exposure, or possibly could be already. I know my hits are half of what they normally are which tells me something is definitely not right.
I have my own website and I verified mine back in March.
Verification only takes a few seconds once they figure out exactly what information Google wants.
No the sky hasn't fallen, but it only takes a minute for Google to pull the rug out from under us! |

Is there anything we need to check or fix on our end to make sure this error gets corrected?
Also - this maybe off topic - but how do we fix our errors such as "Prohibited word in attribute: description" when it doesn't show what is in error? |
