Is there a way to change a subcategory to a category? I tried copying an item listing from the subcategory to a category but the photos have to manually inserted which would be quite time consuming.
I'd appreciate any help with the matter.
Thanks, Mary

do a test first

BUT I beleive you can use the GREEN arrow and it will move the sub-category INCLUDING all the products you have listed in that category.

Thanks so much - I assume you choose "root" as the new parent category.
Thanks again - this was a pretty dumb question.

I was just doing that!

Thanks for asking the "not-so-dumb" after all question.

I only had a few books to move, and I did them manually.

Now I'll know what to do next time I need this function!

No question is dumb ... if you first looked for the answer (like you did)
