New eCrater TopSite ~ Free Banner Exchange

Hi - wanted to let you know that I added topsite banner to both blogs and website.

I cannot figure out how to add the html for the banner to my signature for email - any help appreciated.

Hi Terri,

I sent you a PM with the voting "banner e" you can use in your e-mails.
To add the banner to your siggy you'll just need to go under the admin tools for your e-mail service, there you should find the tool to make a siggy for your outgoing messages.

I don't know if anyone else knew this (except Elizabeth, of course, lol), but I just found a free Top Site Search Engine that you can add to your website, so I put him on a couple of my pages, including my links page... he's bright green, hard to miss and so cute!

Yepp, 468x60... and if you go to the bottom of the page, you'll see a link to create your own.

I've noticed a few banners have disappeared from the toplist this week. I want everyone to know I'm not the one removing the banners. What happened is sites that don't receive votes in are automatically being dropped off the list. Unfortunately this feature is completely out of my control.

If your website banner is missing from the list your account should still active. To get back on the list: log in and get your voting banner "E" code. Next paste the code in an e-mail and send it to yourself. Save the e-Mail and use the link to vote for yourself at least once a week. This will keep your banner on the topsite. You can also add this same code to your e-mail siggy so friends and family can vote for you.

~ TOPSITE HTML CODE HELP ~

Here's an HTML code I wrote for my eCrater topsite voting banner since the one the topsite generated wouldn't work on MySpace or my own website.

To use this code for yourself just replace the "X's" in the code with your own five digit account number. Be sure not to change anything else with the code or it won't work properly.

It's ok What you need to do is go back to the topsite home page at http://www.topsiteguide.com/toplist.asp?site=ecrater and click on "add or update site" next you'll click on "update website" next enter your account number (the codes will be in the e-mail that was sent to you by the topsite right after you signed up - check you junk mail box too just in case the e-mail was delivered there) next enter your password and you'll be in. Here you can do any updating to your listing and get the banner code.
