|
|
We have currently a problem with the Google merchant client accounts. It affects all merchants that accept only one of the payment options: Google Checkout or Paypal. Merchants who accept both payment options will not have this problem.
Our guess is that it will take 1-2 days until we fix all the accounts.
We apologize for the inconvenience. |

One more advantage to accepting both. |

No, I really do not want to add Paypal to my payments.
I sent an email to the support team when I first saw it, and they replied very quickly, and pointed to this thread. Well done. |

I also have no interest in having a PayPal account or using any other company owned or associated with ebay in any way. |

I recently removed Paypal, leaving GC only and got this message too. Didn't see thread on search but eCrater team pointed me to it (always such fast, great response from them!).
Interesting timing as recent news about changes with Paypal buyer protection now being like ebay's and then out of the blue we're hit with this if we don't have paypal as single or alternate. hmmmmmm
interesting timing. |

I also have both Google and PayPal, and for several days I did NOT receive email notifications of sales, and yes, I did have sales that were paid through either Google or PayPal. I am receiving the notifications NOW. |

Today I had a small Google CO sale. I manually charge my google cos and when I went to my store to charge and hide the item, the charge function didn't work. I tried twice. Finally logged onto GCO to charge there. |

It only affects those of us who choose not to use PayPal. |

I take both GC and PP. So don't know why I couldn't charge from my order file. When I check into GCO everything was fine. |

This is incorrect. This issue affects all stores that only accept one of the online payment methods, either PayPal or Google checkout. If a store accepts both it should not be affected by this issue.
