newbie-just got my site up. but-
most of my things if shipped single will be less than a pound. but if they order say four it will be over a pound. i know how much it will cost but how do they know it won't cost $16 ( $4 per item individually )but $6 for all four. the selections to pick from on shipping charges wasn't clear to me. do i need to list the weight of each item and do weighted?
i think i have everything else worked out or at least think i understand it. help if you can. Brent |

The only way for them to know you offer a shipping discount is if you tell them you do.
If you put in each description ---4 ship for $6
the order will process correctly if you use the shipping matrix to indicate that 4 is $6
BUT looking at any individual item they never know until checkout time that shipping is lower on mulitiple items.
You shipping choice is a flat rate - which means you charge X amount for each item. OR shipping matrix which is by weight. |
