|
|
Hello, I was approached by someone recently on Facebook wanting to promote my items to his fan page fans but I do not have an affiliate program. He wanted me to sell on amazon but in order for me to do that I would have to sign up for a pro sellers account for $40 a month. Is there any way to have an affiliate program with an ecrater store? Please let me know if any of you have had success doing this. Much thanks, Brandi |

Brandi, are you using a drop shipper? Your photos look like you might be. If so you may be perceived as an affiliate.
But if you want to sell on Amazon you can open your own store and if you want to promote your items on Facebook you can start your own page and do so for free. You do not need a third party taking a cut for any of it. |

Thanks for your replies. I already have my own facebook but he runs fan sites for things my items pertain to and has thousands of fans. So it would be a great opportunity to get customers. I just didn't want to have to pay for a monthly fee + selling fees on top of my paypal fees. I'm sure you understand. |

basically, if it's done right ...
you allow the guy to list your stuff
he sells them on your behalf
he pays you keeping a little commission for himself
and you ship to his customer.
You and him just need a contract as for how much he will pay you for each item and how fast you will get the stuff out to HIS customers. Also you need to include what will appear on the packing slip (usually it's his information and your name is no way.
NEVER ship until he pays you. |

I think you are misunderstanding. I sell my item on ecrater. He just wants an affiliate deal where he will promote my items on his facebook fan pages (tv oriented) and he would get a percent of the money ifsomeone buys an item through the link to my site. |

Usually affiliate programs come with a unique url for the affiliate that posts your items. Like a referral link. I could make a unique url for him through bit.ly but I wouldn't know if that person clicking on his link was actually the one who bought a product. So I need some way of tracking the sale. |

This site does not have a referral link feature.
You would have to rely on Google Analytics to know where the buyer came from and I personally wouldn't rely on that. |
