Still cannot access admin area. Some people just has too much time in hand to go around attacking sites. |

Site under DDOS attack. More importantly - whether the problem will be solved soon.
I hope the administrators are working on this problem.
We will be glad to hear all you work on this issue. |

It looks like somebody want to make thing easier for the big guys.
Or maybe somebody is testing Dimitar Slavov & the eCrater Team. |

Rest assured - the eCrater team is ALWAYS on top of things. I have complete faith in those who keep this free site running so well. Our stores are working well which is good, perhaps they are on another server. |

I am receiving orders and payments from my store but cannot see my or anybody else stores. Also when i try to go to login page through my bookmark it gives connection time out message of Firefox.
It is weekend so its not a big problem now. Lets hope it gets fixed before Monday or Tuesday because then only can i see what items are ordered in order to ship. |

I give them a lot of credit because yesterday, I was able to list some items, albeit slowly and with a couple of glitches, and I have watchers on my new items, so they did a great job of keeping things pretty much together. I just logged in without any problems and it was quite "perky" and fast. So maybe they are making headway.
Got a TON of stuff to list. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day. |

I also double checked PayPal and Google Checkout to make sure there weren't any orders that didn't get recorded on eCrater during this difficult time. It was all OK. |

Any ideas on why buyers can still place orders when I couldn't even view/load my site at my end? |

I have been able to view and even access the site and list things during this period of time, even though it was a little rocky. So others may have been able to as well, and probably place orders.
I think it depends on what browser you are using. |

Think it could be region base. I tried 3 browsers ans yet can't access both site and admin. |

Could be the nature of the attack they are having also. We don't know how it affected the site. But it sounds like it was massive, and could have affected different parts of the system or site in different ways.
It seems to be OK now, for me, anyway. I just listed a couple of things with no problem.
Maybe try clearing out your old cookies and temporary files. Sometimes, the old cookies and temp. files on the computer can mess things up, especially if there has been some sort of glitch
I know, everyone always says this, but it really is true. |

Already tried that but it doesn't work. I recall the previous attack, I was only able view/login after quite some time later (a day or so) after mostly USA, Canada sellers mentioned that their sites are viewable. |
