I would like to see a list of online forums (or bulletin boards) that allow advertising and links as a signature at the bottom of a posted message. ivillage is one. |

I second that. Three or four side links with just a few hits will put you on
the 1st one, two or three pages on google search every time with most general search terms for even disapproved items and stores. |

Would if I could MoonwishesStore.
I'm one of those who needs the help. New at the self promotion game.
Done a little on some of my ebay listings in the past ( Speaking of ebay, they must of cut a deal with google. Everything shows much higher lately.).
I do use auctiva's blogs some as they don't seem to care about links to other sites. Not a option for everyone though as there is a fee.
ivillage is one.
auctiva's is two
Have to start somewhere. |

www.iantiqueonline.com doesn't care about signature links, in fact that is what they are all about. The site drives me crazy however as it is too disorganized to function as intended. It if for vintage, antique only. |

Give it a look and a few hits. Took about 20 min. Gave eCRATER a well deserved plug but I forgot the mall, will add it next update. It also holds 10 meta lables. Had to give the bay a plug but thats where my track record to this point is at. It makes my computer hum a little but it's free.
I think it's a good site. Already has quite a few hits and I've received two offers for me to buy something on there mail system. One's a really good deal on custom business cards. No spam on my email account yet.
ivillage might not be the best fit for me but I might sign up anyway. LOL.

I tried to add a eCRATER Widget but it either did not work or I did it wrong. |

Forgot about this one.
Great for making side links. All over the search pages. Been a member for awhile. I've had some older customers contact me here after I joined and one who sent me the invite.

I have not put much work in on this but some are real polished.
If you sign up tell them that S.Drows @ Sevink invited you.
You might be surprised who you know here.

This seems to be a good place for those with multiple site's. Kind of a cental hub for your links. I have less than 30 min. in it and it shows where everything comes from and where they go. Most have been going to my eCRATER store and some to the mall.
Still trying to figure out how well google see's it and it's links. |

My favorite all round forum is Digital Point. This is a general webmaster related forum and covers areas like Google, Yahoo, E commerce, payment processors, seo and the like, The best part is they allow dofollow signature links. I think there is a minimum post count before you can add you signature links.

If you are looking for a place to add your Ecrater store links, two of my web directories are accepting free links. Most of the old timers are already in them. Submitting a link is pretty straight forward...just be sure to choose the free option and I will give priority to all Ecrater stores.
