Can you have more than one? Do you need a second e-mail address? |

Yes, you can have more than one eCRATER store. You just need to register with another email address. |

Hi, if you don't mind, could you tell me how to make my own domain name to point to the website and my own domain name to stick.
Example, when I typed http://www.myname.com it gets redirect to http://myname.ecrater.com/
Thanks. |

Who hosts your domain? Mine is Yahoo and I had to log-in to my Premeier account and redirect my domain to go to my store. |

My domain host is ipower.com.
I did exactly as you did. I redirected my domain to the ecrater store. It gets redirected to my ecrater store, but I don't know how to get my domain name to stick like BigTallMensClothing did. |

You can "mask" the redirect so that your original URL shows, and not the e-crater URL. Unfortunately when you do that it also masks all your meta tags, which is what search engines look for. Mine is a standard redirect, meaning when a person types in http://fancyflappers.com/, it will then change to http://fancyflappers.ecrater.com/. |

OK. I guess masking the redirect is not a good idea if the search engine can't search the meta tags. Thanks much. |

I don't think that is exactly true. My domain name comes up in searches on MSN, YAHOO and other places. I checked in November and I was number 5 on MSN and when you compete with deep pocket retail stores that's pretty damn good! |

OK, I should have been more specific; if you use a masked redirect with a metacrawler search engine it will not be able to crawl you site and read the meta tags. |

I was trying to open a store with feeBay for the past 2 months, but they suspended me twice. The 1st time was for listing violation and took them more than a month to reinstate my account and yesterday they suspended me again for buying too many very cost items, i.e. less than a dollar items. I am done with feeBay. They sure make you feel like a criminal. |
