Google Checkout-Not Having Any Luck

First of all, I am in my 70's and lack skill in technical details. I have tried to sign up for Google Checkout, however, it is not working. I have had two potential buyers inform me of this. I took a trial run myself--tried to purchase one of my items. I am informed: "OOPS! (my name) has sent Google a shopping cart with errors in it. We'll contact them to ask they fix this problem. As this could be a temporary issue, you can go back in your browser to try checking out again." I am at a loss as to what to do next or who to go to for help. If anyone has any ideas please take pity on me as I know just enough to list and do email mainly. The simpler the better. Thanks so very much. Bob

Without being able to SEE what you got I can only guess.

Let start with
Log in to google checkout
on the settings page select Integration on the left menu
on the right side is Account information and it shows the Google merchant ID and the Google merchant key

In other window
log into your ecrater.com store
on the left menu look at Payment Options
Make sure Secure Checkout through Google Checkout has a checkmark
and the Merchant ID and Merchant Key are exactly as they are on that Google page you have open from above

LOOK at the google page
Integration settings
API callback URL should be https://www.ecrater.com/google/response-handler.php

Callback method:
XML e.g. <google-order-number>123</google-order-number>
the above needs to be checked


LOOK at all that. Then try it out. IF it still don't work holler! and I'll see what else it might be.

Hot Dog! That did it--I think. I tested a purchase of one of my items and went right thru to Google Checkout. I thank you from the bottom of heart (my wife said to thank you also as she had to hear my frustrations). Am most grateful. Bob
