Your store is suspended. Since you have nothing filled in about your store it is impossible for anyone here to help you. Do you have permission to use the photos? That is often a reason when stock photos are used. |

Just from seeing your frontpage(which is all any of us can see) It looks like your selling eBooks. You may have to show Ecrater that you the rights to sell them |

Have no idea why you were suspended, but why would an ebook store call themselves Towels2. That would make me expect a towel store not ebooks. |

Most of the ebooks are classics which are already public property - I sent them an email, will they reply with what items I need to take down? |

It can take a couple of days to hear back if they are busy. |

Quote: | How long does a copyright last?
The term of copyright for a particular work depends on several factors, including whether it has been published, and, if so, the date of first publication. As a general rule, for works created after January 1, 1978, copyright protection lasts for the life of the author plus an additional 70 years. For an anonymous work, a pseudonymous work, or a work made for hire, the copyright endures for a term of 95 years from the year of its first publication or a term of 120 years from the year of its creation, whichever expires first. For works first published prior to 1978, the term will vary depending on several factors. To determine the length of copyright protection for a particular work, consult chapter 3 of the Copyright Act (title 17 of the United States Code). More information on the term of copyright can be found in Circular 15a, Duration of Copyright, and Circular 1, Copyright Basics. | ... from the US copyright website ... http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-duration.html
If you are reselling the original ebook copy you purchased, that would be like a person selling a used book. However, if you are making copies of an ebook which is covered by copyright law and you don't have legal permission from the copyright owner, you are breaking the law. |

Maybe I am dumb but why would someone buy something that is in the public domain and they should be able to download it for free from where ever the person selling it got it.? I don't do ebooks so maybe I just don't understand the whole deal. Give me real paper and ink! |
