Im quite new to the ecrater experience but feel optimistic about it I like the idea of the facebook page I have a facebook page at the moment but currently dont really use it. I have no friends as I havent gone through the process of looking for them I dont really want to use facebook on a personal level as its not recommended in the line of work Im in But I think it could boost sales from this site Could I use a name thats not my own, not to conceal my identity , but not particularly to reveal it either? just for the purpose of selling? |

Take the time to learn about the difference between a personal Facebook account and a Facebook business page.
Take the time to learn about privacy settings in Facebook.
Take the time to read Facebook's user agreement.
Those will answer your questions. |

For personal pages, Facebook has established it's business on a person's real name so that real friends can 'friend' the person. That being said, for your business page, you can use your business name. Those two pages are two different animals so to speek. You do need to read the rules and get familiar with the site. By the way, there are quite a few books out on using Facebook and other forms of social media to build up your business. |

I have just added a business page to my FB account. It does take a little time to figure out but I'm excited about the opportunities to reach more people and customers through FB. |

For a few days now my FB submit button that appears on my eCrater listings, has not been working. The social submit button on the dashboard products list does not always work either. Is anyone else having these problems? |

I noticed that button too but, I have yet to use it. I keep forgetting that it's there and I keep posting things to facebook the old fashioned way. |
