|
|
Hi...I just set my US store items to appear in the UK market. I added the currency conversion as 0.624. When I set up my products in the AU market what is the currency conversion there? I do believe I set us the AU market without a value. What should I do now? |

You set you UK conversion too low and you can Google currently conversion to find out what the exchange rate is. Always add on a few more pennies otherwise it doesn't come out quite right and you will collect less than what you are charging your US customers. Also be sure you have your international shipping rates right as since they went up in January it can be huge if you are off even 1-3 ounces! |

Hi...Thank you for your reply. I set it as follows:
UK= 0.64444 AU= 0.97577
Is this correct? Will it override the incorrect amount that I originally set it as? |

If you fixed it in the global editor it should fix it. I can't answer for sure since I don't know how you did it.
I'm not sure where you got your numbers, as they are less than what I just found. You did ignore what I said about adding some pennies onto each of the amounts. I think you will find that with the amounts that you have selected you will lose money in the event of a sale. Currently I have mine set to UK 0.69 and AU 1.05 and sometimes the AU barely breaks even with what it should. Currency fluctuate daily and unless you want to piddle around with them each day, you need to have leeway built into the numbers. |

The alternative is to let eCRATER set the exchange rate. I've never lost out by doing this. |
