Doesn't matter if you have the UPC, brand name, and everything else google requires, your beer can will NOT show up in google shopping and you can type in as many attributes as you want but you'll be wasting your time. Google has a list of items and attributes that they automatically flag as inappropriate and if you meet one of those criteria, your item is automatically exempt from being listed in google shopping no matter what you do or type in. One of those items and words is "beer".

Put in as much Goggle info as you can. There are beer cans found in GS. It couldn't hurt to do as much as you can.

Try removing the word beer from your titles. Use the brand name and in the attributes say describe product_type and collectible can.

Well I don't know what their policy is for vintage stuff because I don't normally deal in that area of items but, I got a hold of a list awhile back that had certain words which would automatically be flagged for disapproval by google. They were most likely referring to modern day beer in which it is obvious the seller is trying to offer beer for consumption and not for collecting but, I spoke to a few people that said they had some vintage cans that were disapproved no matter what they did so maybe Google was confused?

Just thought I'd let you know in case you find yourself having problems with your beer can listings. I've got some CDs I've been trying to sell for a few years now and I come to find out, the reason they were disapproved from google is because of the title of the band. Barenaked Ladies. Google completely ignored the part that said factory sealed music cd and focused only on the "naked ladies" part. I guess they thought I was selling porn? Been trying to get those to show up for quite some time now but every time I relist those CDs they are flagged as soon as google does their next attributes review. Some people do manage to slip through the cracks though.

I had a Loreal lipstick and the name was Rum Raisin.

Google would not let me list it on "Google" for sale - I guess their own Google items but not in a marketplace..? But anyways I kept getting the warning banner, Google does not allow the listing or sale of alcohol...

I can't help it that its NAME was Rum Raisin!
