Weather man said we were supposed to have a "light" dusting of snow that wouldn't even stick to the ground. THIS is what we woke up to.

By the way, you can't tell but there's a road right in front of you in that pic. Laughing I'm not talking about in the back right corner of the photo, that's my neighbor's driveway. The main road is literally right before your eyes!

The picture is pretty if you don't have to go out. I'd be very afraid if the weatherman says to expect "heavy" snowfall. Laughing

Hope you don't have to go out today.

Yeah! It's not a picture of your deck.

sorry, during one of the previous snowstorms a couple of newscasters got going on "how come everyone takes a picture of their deck" and proceeded to show some 10 different deck pictures. I think they were a little bored. But they had a point...

I love a winter wonderland. Which is why I am in Middle Tennessee where we are subject to maybe 2 to 6 inches very occasionally.

I remember shoveling snow one storm in NJ that was at least 8 inches and still coming down. The weather forecast was for 2-6 inches. It ended up being close the 3 feet.

12-18 inches was not unusual when I lived in the US. We just didn't have them daily.

Our road had high road banks that would fill in level. We would be snowed in for a week at a time when that happened. Had to wait for bulldozers to move it. Now those banks have been leveled. The area is unrecognizable today but I daresay they got more than their fair share of snow this week.

You all should post pics of your snowy views. We had a small snow in early December and not a flake since.
