|
|
After some automatic update last week, I am no longer able to print screenshots in google chrome such as printing my paypal packing slips. When I click on the print button, instead of the print preview screen, my computer file menu comes up. What file do I go to... to get my paypal packing slip to print? |

Confused between "screenshot" and clicking the print packing slip button.
I just click the button and pops up the windoe that says print and done, in paypal, as like any other thing to print.
Screenshots would be a long way around.
but try any webpage, try the screenshot grab and see where saves it. or even offline for that matter.
Not sure how you run it, but a screenshot would be "print screen" on the keyboard that saves it in the copy buffer to paste later in a program then save.
In win7 they have that clip book thing, but it should be the same procedure on a Mac but I don't know macs at all. |

When I click the print button, A side menu pops up with options to "Print", "Cancel" or "Print using system dialog...". If I click "Print", I get another pop-up window listing all the folders on my computer. If I ckick the "Print using system dialog..." option, I get a "Windows XPS Document Properties" pop-up window. Either way, I do not see a way to print from those menus. |

Somehow you have the file associations wanting to save a "file".
Maybe turn off print preview ? |

Sounds like default printer has been removed or printer driver has been removed. Can you print through other applications? If not, then this is what's happened.
It's simply trying to save the label as a document. That's what a computer does when it can't find the printer. |

I can still print through Internet Explorer, but I normally prefer Google Chrome. |
