Now I see the four. I used the above link both times to get there only I did use two different computers if that might have made a difference. |

I'm still not sure what I am doing is going to achieve the desired result. I'm going to keep it up thru Christmas (time permitting). Would be nice to see some positive tangible effect. |

I have recently gotten serious about pinning items for sale on pinterest. Something I find interesting is how many of our items have already been pinned onto other people's pages.
So far I've sold 3 items I have pinned and very soon after pinning them. It doesn't appear that they come directly from pinterest but is pinterest elevating them in searchability? |

Maggie, When doing google searches, I've seen Pinterest results come up, so they are searchable. I think that is (or was as I'm not sure if it changed) FB didn't allow google searches so selling on FB can be problematic however I have had one FB order since we now can see where the orders come from. I have had a lot more orders from Pinterest. |

Thanks for the link. Didn't realize that if you pinned more of others' items than your own you'd probably do better. Nice to know. |

Absolutely true! I have boards with categories that match my store categories and I pin my store goods into the appropriate board, but then almost all the rest of my pins come from others and are sorted into boards so that my pinterest site is a good place for someone who sews or does crafts to come to, just like my store Of course, some boards are just because they interest me and that is fine as well. |

WooHoo! I love Pinterest! Friday I went over 10,000 followers in two years as I joined, I believe, December 2012. Doing a happy dance. And Facebook that I have been on for maybe 4-5 years I have a grand total of 132 'friends' on my business page. I enjoy Pinterest so much more |
