Well, we're snowed in anyway so I'm not going anywhere today. It's 14 degrees with a windchill of -9. Bitterly cold out, dangerous. I really hope the homeless people in town can find a warm place to hang out today since a lot of places are closed. The city mission only lets them in before bed time. |

We are now up to 9" of snow and there's no end in sight! It has not stopped snowing all day, not even for a minute. At this rate, we'll have 13" by tomorrow morning and it'll be like a repeat of the blizzard we had back in 1993...1992? Somewhere around that time frame. |

I think we are in the 10" to 12" range of snow for the day.
The worst is yet to come with temps, however.
They are expecting -8 and -12 Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
I think I'll just stay in, plus I put all my sites on vacation for a few days. |

And here in the northwest many ski areas aren't open becasue of the lack of snow, or they are making it. Presidents day is usually a big ski week-end. Today....everyone was at the beach in 68* temps. |

As of today we have 12" of snow out here. The Downtown areas of Huntington Wv and Ashland Ky are not as bad. They got like 6" or so but the salts trucks go downtown first. |
