A major earthquake would be bad for the worker.

During the Loma Prieta Quake the tops of many of the redwood trees swayed back and forth violently and the tops of snapped off.

Perhaps the helocopter that filmed it, droped him off.

I have seen vids of folks working on cross-country high-poower lines.
They work hanging from helocopters, so as not to be electricly grounded.
