Can Microsoft’s How-old.net guess your age?

You can try your own photos.

The ages vary quite a bit ... lol

I tried it on an online dating service that states their age. lol

Still it's very interesting and shows progress in the face recognition field.

I entered the face of a male cousin who is actually 86 but looks more like 60 and it gave me an age of 89. Then I entered a pic of a man with a full bushy beard and it said it could not find a face. The photo was a closeup and very clear.

I used my pics and I keep getting between 16 and 19. I just turned 30 but everyone says I barely look 20 and I thought those people were just saying that to be nice but maybe they were being truthful.

The more photos you check, the more inaccurate the site appears. Maybe Micro$oft should have waited a while before opening the site? lol

I have a wild theory that the face recognition software is really about cataloging face or neck tattoos somehow. lol
Having a face or neck tattoo is like voluntarily putting a UPC line bar graph on your usually exposed part of your body, waiting for a surveillance camera to find you and catalog your movements at the camera. Should be a hit for bail jumper bounty hunters? lol

Absolutly right.
Especially if Microsoft is doing it.
ALL of these types of sites are collecting data on you.
Some of it psychological.
"what dog bread are you"
'What is your stripper name"
I don't know what those say about you.
But they all trade their data, and it all ads-up to a psych picture.

If they didn't already have it, they just tricked you into adding your age to the file.

Maybe i should start selling makeup designed to confuse face recognition.
