Seperate listings for Colors?

I have heard that a listing should only have 1 color and sizes could be different on that same listing. However, any other colors variation of the same product should be listed as a different listing. Is that how it goes? I have not seen or read any such listing rule anywhere. So I am kind of confused. Could anybody help? Thanks...

A listing for each color and size makes it much easier for the buyer and seller. No back and forth trying to chase anyone down. Plus, it makes more listings which means a better chance of finding your store.

True, I would get more exposure that way. However, it is more work on my part.

I just wanted to really make sure whether this is "a rule" of the site, however.

Almost no extra work, just use the copy button, change some words and add the pics. Easy peasy. Of course you don't HAVE to do this, that is up to you. Have you read the listing guidelines?

I thought someone listed a link for GS requirements, but I can't find it right now. Of course your store gets submitted others places as well, you can find the terms you agreed to by opening up an eCrater store here, http://www.ecrater.com/terms.php

But all of the hoopla with colors, sizes and upc are all a GS thing. If you choose not to input all of that and you just won't show up in GS. But, just to be warned, as soon as you have everything exactly how they want it, they will change everything and make even harder, (if that is possible) to find us small sellers.

lol that is ridiculous. I do feel that small sellers are not being given equal opportunity.

It will take some sort of movement to bring Google down. It is partial for sure.
