Just so you won't get lost when looking for it, it is endicia not Indicia. Through endicia I buy my insurance at much more reasonable rates that the PO ever thought of using and they do pay out. Twice for me on international parcels!

@Five-And-Dime

A few thoughts …

First, I am surprised that Calculated Shipping generated a $10 for International First Class Parcel. My impression, if you have all the weights correctly entered, is that the vast majority of packages going FCPI are going to be more than that.

Second, not all destination countries scan FCPI tracking. I sent a package out about 4 weeks ago to Japan. Last scan was Miami. Buyer left me positive FB. I know it got there, but no way to prove it (beyond the FB).

Third, FCPI, if you have to print via USPS.com, is going to be Retail rates. Be careful, because that may cost you an extra dollar or two.

Lastly, customers should be able to see the rate before hand by clicking on the link 'Shipping: USPS calculated - check' and selecting their country. It's probably too much to ask, but it sure would be nice if eCRATER defaulted the headline postage number to the country owning the IP address. That will not be accurate 100% of the time, but should be better than nothing. For the US, they could show a low-high range (or nothing as they do now).

Hi, Cosmic...
The parcel was 8 ounces & would have cost ME $13.50
The "buyer" paid $10.00
So, the TOTAL was USD $15.00
I would have not made a penny
HOW she expected a $5.00 item could ship "free"...
... except she probably usually buys from China.
So, I am going to "free" US shipping.
Then, I will add, manually, a rate for Int'l to cover diff.
Very Happy
On a happy note:
I wrote to eCrater... supplied screenshots.
Showed them all her not so nice eMails...
Showed them I refunded first thing in the morning...
They removed her Negative !
Very Happy
That's why I love eCrater.
