Hi All!
I'm in need of your help. I am stumped on this international order/free shipping dilemma. I've tried several different things, yes, I read the manual too, what am I missing? Nothing seems to work, items still show up with free shipping in the UK and AU store. Frustrated!
Any advise on how to remove myself from these 2 stores or to remove the option for shipping to these 2 places altogether would be much appreciated. Thanks!!
No UK or AU shipping selected in the shipping zone
No UK or AU shipping selected in the matrix
(Unchecked) Enable GBP currency
(Unchecked) Enable AUD currency
(Unchecked) Enable USPS Calculated Shipping Instead (not even sure anymore if that matters)

If you turn on USPS Calculated, that should override the free shipping, but only if you have an international shipping method(s) selected in the options panel. With USPS international rates being what they are, it would probably greatly inhibit your non-US orders.
But make sure you have correct packed weights on all your product listings before turning that on. |

You missed the two most important steps to close you UK and AU stores. In your admin, go to Options: and make sure there is a checkmark in the box beside "Do not auto convert prices in other currencies". That will stop any new items from being added to the UK and AU stores. Next you will need to run the Global Editor twice to remove the current products from both stores. Here's the directions from the manual.
Quote: | Remove items from UK and AU marketplaces
By default, items are listed in the AU and UK marketplace unless the seller removes them.
Remove the products from the Australia Marketplace
1. Click on “Store Options” to access the options page.
2. Check the box “Do not auto convert prices in other currencies”.
3. Click “Update”.
4. Click on “Global Editor” to perform a global action.
5. Click “Add Global Action”.
6. Select “All Categories” from the drop-down menu for “Apply to”.
7. Select “Set AU price” from the drop-down menu for “Action”.
8. Select “Delete” from the drop-down menu for “Operator”.
9. Click “Add”.
10. The global action will now be pending.
11. Allow it to complete. When it is completed a green checkmark will display.
Remove the products from the UK Marketplace
7. Select “Set UK price” from the drop-down menu for “Action”.
8. Select “Delete” from the drop-down menu for “Operator”.
9. Click “Add”.
10. The global action will now be pending.
11. Allow it to complete. When it is completed a green checkmark will display. |
Now that all products have been removed from both the UK and AU stores and you've told the system to "Do not auto convert prices in other currencies", the problem is resolved.
It is possible to sell to the UK and AU from your US store without having a UK and/or AU store. Once you've taken the steps above and the Global Editor has completed it's action twice, now you can add UK and/or AU to your shipping zone which will give you a row for each in your shipping matrix which you can complete for each country. |

Thank you Cosmic! That I did already do.
Sheila thank you much for making these steps as clear as you did. I've made the changes and it's now processing!
