I've been trying to make my files work since two-three weeks ago and its been impossible... I've switched to UTF-8 like they said in a plain text with no line breaks, etc.. etc.. etc.. Nothing. Support staff seems to be really busy to help their customers since I've been sending them several emails regarding this issues and its safe to safe that none progress have been accomplished.
I really need help to finally make this work and start uploading my products. I have all of them in CSV Files, separated by columns.
Basically, what I'm doing is copying these data from the CSV File, then open a Plain Text File on TextEdit (Mac) and try to make this workd as much as can but as you can image.... Nothing worked.
I'll appreciate if someone could actually help me on getting this through once and for all. |

Currently you have over 700 listings up all in your 'My Products'. I'm not sure what else you are trying to do. You need to sort your things into categories within your store and I don't think that you can use the bulk lister for that. Many of us started our stores and filled them up manually before the bulk lister was available. |

Have you gone to your admin - More Options: > Bulk List/eBay Import > Requirements and help and carefully reviewed ALL the requirements? Are the items you are uploading different from the products you currently have in your store? (You can not use the Bulk Lister to update items currently in your store.) Does the structure of your bulk file match the bulk file structure shown. It's my understanding that even if you don't have data for a column you still need to add the column.
I noticed you haven't created local categories in your store. It's going to make it hard for your buyers to find your items. You really should consider adding more local categories before you add more items to your store. Your bulk file already has a column for local_cat_id where you add the number for your local category. It's a lot easier to add them now rather than later. |

They have a small staff and they will answer your questions, it just isn't an instant response. But it will be a real answer from a real answer person. I know at some places, every time you send another email, you get sent down the the bottom of the reply list. (Not sure if eCrater is set up like that) I would also recommend listening to the suggestions already offered. |

If you can cut and paste couple of row of what you've submitted, I might able to tell what was the problem. I just got over 400 products approved using bulk lister. |

I'm afraid I can't help you with that. First all, eCrater does not accept pure HTML or XML files. Second if you are listing using a .csv your user name and passwords have to be the same between your site accounts when importing. I find that filling out forms provided by eCrater work the best, even if the text boxes are not updated to Word software. The form is there for a reason. No two listings are exactly the same!
If you are listing multiple options for a single catalog item, you should list them separately. As far as I can see there are no variations available, and I would not use them anyway as once an item of a particular color or variation is sold you would have to edit and relist anyway. It is a very simple and uncomplex situation here as opposed to sites like Etsy. In fact, I find that Etsy is more complex now that they have added Google attributes, which you would have to fill out in order to show up in search for Google Shopping.
I hope this helps. |

@ Quality-Goods-Miracle - you already started your own topic with the same question. Please only ask your questions in one topic. This is a duplicate. |

I find it interesting that you don't know about some of these things yet as you have been selling here for a while with very poor feedback. One item that I looked at, doesn't describe what it does at all and the listing is the exact same listing that I found elsewhere although I couldn't find the original listing. Before worrying about adding more things to your store, I would suggest cleaning up your listings, explain what they are supposed to be for and I am pretty sure, at least with the item I looked at, it is by prescription (viagra in a different form) only here in the states which means you should not be selling it here on eCRATER. I would suppose you have a lot of listings like that. I don't have time to go through them, however. |
