|
|
Hello everyone!
I've opened my shop Any-Music-1960, I'm exhibiting.
Very convenient to price my products to place AU & UK place was in AUD & GBP.
Applied Global Editor for my first three products-prices are automatically converted. My products became visible on eCRATER UK & eCRATER AU places, the price was automatically converted at the current rate.
Deleted these items. He continued to exhibit his other products.
Applied to these products Global Editor for all product categories
Action > set AU price > Base Price USD > operator + >
Action > set UK price > Base Price USD > operator + >
It turns out, for example
10 USD >10 AU – (what is less than required)
10 USD >10GBP –(what's more than required)
Download global_editor.doc Read the discussions Solutions to Common questions - Selling in UK & AU
I tried to use Global Editor manually, choosing the operator *
1 USD >1,35 AU ввожу 1,35 (User Value)
1 USD >0,77 GBP ввожу 0,77 (User Value)
The value must be a valid positive number or zero. (max 6 digits after the point)
????
After all, the Global Editor must perform these actions with the conversion in automatic mode
I can't understand what I'm doing wrong!!!
I tried to cancel the actions, to apply again. I see that my 28 processed goods, but the prices prices in AUD and GBP are the same as in USD!
My Set Store Options
Enable GBP currency - checked
Enable AUD currency – checked
Do not auto convert prices in other currencies – not checked
Can someone help me? Thank you!
Regards

Hey Sergey. Try doing your numbers in US fashion. We use periods not commas between the dollars and cents. Example: $1.59 not $1,59. You do need to use the * operator.
A hint if you don't mind. Don't try to hit the exact perfect price for the Uk and AU. As those amounts fluctuate so much on a daily basis. I tried to have a bit more to help cover things and the fact that PP takes extra money for processing the payment from foreign currency to yours.
Also so that you are aware, eCRATER sets the shipping rates based on the 'weight' you have in your shipping. Yet again, don't try for perfect, but close enough to help weather the daily currency changes. I ran into trouble once and ended up having to 'eat' the extra postage. They didn't run changes on the shipping at any schedule we knew about.
While you are getting used to all this, keep an eye on the currency exchange at least weekly.
Hope this helps. |

I am confused by your post. You stated:
Quote: | My Set Store Options
Enable GBP currency - checked
Enable AUD currency – checked
Do not auto convert prices in other currencies – not checked | Then you spend a lot of time explaining how you are trying to use Global Editor. When you do not check "Do not auto convert prices in other currencies" you are asking the eCRATER system to auto convert your prices. There is no need to use the Global Editor when eCRATER is doing the converting.
If you want to control the exchange rate used to convert your US price to the UK and AU prices, then you need to CHECK "Do not auto convert prices in other currencies" which will allow you to use the Global Editor to set your own conversions. If you want to do this, you are also assuming the responsibility to keep your conversion rates up to date. Your shipping prices will be automatically converted by eCRATER regardless of the choice you make regarding your prices. |

Hello MoonwishesStore!
Thanks to your hint, it turned out to apply actions set AU price & set UK price. I used a period instead of a comma. And, of course, the operator *. Thank you again.
