Can someone please clarify how we are supposed to promote our store
I promoted my store a while back. and many saw it.
Now I went into the original post and I did an edit. I added 2 NEW videos.
I clicked submit.
Is this ok? Will others see this?
Or do I have to post a new topic when I go into my post?
I see some people with a title to their post and they have over 20 pages.
How do you know when a new post has been added to those 20 pages?
I really hope I am explaining this correctly. |

Use the first post as your main title including your store name and what you sell. You can edit that same post and the title, or add pages of replies to the post. Each new post brings your thread to the top of the list while merely editing a post keeps it from bumping up.
DO not recommend starting a thread with something like Hi, I'm New, Or Hi, Please visit my store...
Once you edit the main title I'm pretty sure it won't be indexed in search engines the same way, so leaving it alone will create continuity, whereas changing it will most likely make any previous links to that specific thread obsolete, and anyone following your thread will have to find you again.
You can add new items to each reply as you post them to your store.
This store promo thread is a great way to put your personal spin into marketing your store without running the risk of google bots not liking too much extraneous info if you were to do that within your store ads. |

Hi,
Oh adding a reply sounds good. I'll give that a try. I'm going to work on a way to keep the replies fresh so that others can see that there is something new. Yet I do not want to have my post have 27 replies where you have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find the latest item shown. I don't want to wast other people's time, I just want to help them find something they are looking for.
If anyone else has suggestions, It's appreciated. |
