| Other sites I have been a seller on in past years, sent listings to Google Shopping for free, and then later discontinued the free method and went to pay to play (promoted listings) |

| Before Google went pay to play, I did quite well with sales from Google shopping. Although I pay 5.9% commission and have marked all my items down to fire sale prices, I never have Google sales any more. I've always figured we are fed to Google on a revolving basis. |

We have been fed, that is not the issue. Until recently, possibly still applies in some way, various people selling the same product would be bidding against one another for ad imprints. Those who won the auction got shown, and the others did not.
This is different from Google organic, where they spider crawl all web sites. |

It looks like a requirement. I believe not everybody in eCrater has or like PayPal.  |

| what is ecrater planning to do? i have not seen any announcements or updates. years ago before google shopping was pay to play, i had tons of sales on ecrater. when they made it no longer free, sales tanked. i want to get back to the good ol days |
