|
|
I've had this problem more than once. I have a crazy cursor that sometimes lands where it shouldn't and my computer screen moves far to the right and in so doing cuts off my ability to buy, post on some sites or even read a whole sentence.
I can't get to the little tool thingy as it is cut off. Does anyone have any idea how to get my screen moved back left? Shutting down and restarting didn't work. |

Can you use your mouse and point to the top of the window in the "open space" where the File, Edit, View .... is
and use the left button and click and hold the button down.
While holding the button down, move the whole screen over to where you can see it.
Now if the window screen is too large, grab the same top of the window and move it over.
Then if you hover over the edge of the window, there will be a double arrow that you can make the window screen smaller. Left button click when you see the double arrows and drag the window edge inward to make it smaller. (almost like cropping a picture on one end)
I hope this will help you |

Chackacord I only have File Edit View in my Outlook. So those instructions won't work in Chrome. They aren't an option. The double arrow doesn't move. |

I got it. I'm too old to be loose. I will never learn to Google something before I ask others.
For those of you who use Windows, hold down the windows button and press on the left arrow. Instant success.
Thanks to those who tried to help me. |

I'm too old to learn new things . . .
but my cats seem to do things when they walk across the keyboard and I wish I knew what keys they hit to do what they do. LOL |

I hate Windows 10. It does stuff to our computers that we never asked for or wanted. Even if we try to avoid an upgrade, it will wait for the 'perfect' time and sneak in and make changes that are not necessary. |

I've never upgraded. I'm still using Windows 7. Don't know anyone who likes 10. |

Unrelated to this issue but my email provider, also my internet, phone and TV provider recently announced they were switching their email powering to Google for better security. I have two email addresses with them. They were changing them over one at a time. The link they gave me didn't work so I called. The CSR took over and after a couple of test emails decided I was all fixed. When I logged into my email, it showed almost 7000 emails in my inbox. They dated back to 2013 when I signed up with the company. I delete 90% of emails daily and empty the deleted folder weekly. I even periodically empty my trash can. Since the emails seem to come from my saved folders as well, I have to check each one before deleting it. Then without my permission they uploaded the same emails to my phone. Not all technological advances are advances. |
