Has anybody else had this problem?

Have received an order for two childrens books from a buyer in Santa Fe, California through ecrater system. All looks fine and it is only for $10.

I have sent my standard reply asking buyer to confirm prefered method of payment, but my mail has been returned twice as unable to deliver. Will try again later as I know some mail is returned when a mailbox is full, but wondered if anyone esle had had this problem?

As Santa Fe is an international call, I will not be contacting the buyer by telephone for a $10 order.

Without seeing the email addy it's hard to tell if it's a simple easy to figure out typo or not.

Usually when an email bounce the return will tell you the reason - no such addy or box full. What did it say?

That normally means there is a type in the email. No idea what the typo might be. Looks like his name -- do you have his full name is it close to that? If so you might try that.

The email address sounds reasonable to me, but surely verify that there is no typo in it, like it has 55, not 5, etc. Than try to send an email from a different email address, if you have it. If it still comes back - well, than the email is wrong. (S)he could have made a typo when placed the order...

Sorry about the problem you are having. No ideas on it, but you might remove the buyers info/email address now that B & T has seen it and replied. (Not sure that it is good to keep someone's personal info on the board.)

Hope the mystery gets solved!

I actually agree, even though it might seem like a not working address, there may be a temporary problem. I would replace personal info with stars or something like that.

In the bigger picture (not whether or not this email is good) my perspective is that I wouldn't want my email address posted by someone else on a board - it can get picked up by spammers and who knows what else, and an email address is generally considered as personal information.

I realize that in this case an issue was trying to be resolved... but we still don't know really if it is a good address or not.

2 cents for the day!
