|

I suspect it's not possible to change the order of the FAQ items, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
I've been typing them up as they occur to me, so they make no sense whatsoever as they are.
(I'm on hold until I see whether my bulk listing upload worked -- sorry) |

Nope, but that a great thing to put into the suggestion box. |

The FAQ is weird. The first day I started, they listed in the order that I was entering them. Then when I thought of a couple of additional things I wanted to add a week or so later, they listed at the top of the FAQ, with the most recently listed at the top. Then when I entered something new a few days ago, it listed at the bottom! |

Hello all. New here and I agree, the FAQ is definately buggy. I've been working on this most of the day...
When I first started, it piled the questions one on top of the other. I deleted them, tried again, and it allowed me to post 4 in the order I entered them. Upon the 5th, it posted to the top. I deleted it and tried again several times and it still goes to the top.
What gives? |

I've given up on trying to get the FAQ in any particular order for the time being. The lack of consistency in the order that they are added to the list makes the whole thing futile.
You may want to visit the suggestions board. Brenda has posted a request for FAQ reordering; go add your voice. This is an easy fix. Even if they adjust it so that it appears in alphabetical order (which is one short line added to the scripting), we could number the FAQ to force it to a particular order (like the store categories). |

There has to be a trick to it....
Wondering, does it have to do with amount posted during log-in time?
That is, the FAQs you list fall in order during one session, but if you time-out, then the questions start piling? I didn't pay enough attention to know...
With 4 in order, I'm afraid to delete them and try a quick copy paste.
Particularly bothersome since HTML won't work, otherwise I'd just copy in a long segment on shipping and break it up myself -- long, long paragraphs will not do. |
